Delis and supermarkets for a picnic

You’ll be spoilt for choice when putting together a picnic lunch as the town has some wonderful local delis, bakers and a couple of small supermarkets.  Hunters of Helmsley, on the main square, has been serving the town since 1990.  Hunters is a local institution and bursting with meats, cheeses, pickles, chutneys, sandwiches etc.  The award winning Thomas the Baker, also in the main square, sells freshly baked pies, pasties, bread, rolls, sandwiches and takeaway deli items.
